8:00am-5:00pm Training (continental breakfast & lunch provided)
Presented by Dr. Michael Measom
Buprenorphine waiver training is available for providers (Physicians, PAs, APRNs) interested in seeking a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine in the treatment of opioid use disorders. To obtain the waiver to prescribe, providers must complete at least eight hours of training. If your organization is new to offering MAT services, we encourage each provider to invite additional members from their care team.
Providers who successfully complete the training may submit a Notice of Intent Form to Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to obtain a waiver to prescribe. The Form must be completed online; a link will be provided to participants following completion of the training.
Those who attend will gain access to Provider's Clinical Support System for Medication Assisted Treatment (PCSS-MAT). The organization offers a comprehensive library of materials, plus a no-cost clinical coaching/mentoring program to provide one-on-one technical assistance.
